So I've found the temple that I want to be married in... I was looking at pictures of temples for a picture I'm driving for Personal Progress, and a picture of the San Diego temple came up. I've never seen a picture of it before- it's absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of those beautiful castles or cathedrals in fairytales. It will be wonderful to go inside there one day with someone I love.

Speaking of Personal Progress- I chose to draw a picture of a church figure for my Divine Worth project. I decided to draw Pres. Hinckley as he was the prophet I grew up with and such a wonderful, happy man. I thought it turned out well. I definitely miss him, and am glad at the chance to get to know Pres. Monson a little better this upcoming General Conference.
It's also my 18th birthday today. It's amazing to me how fast time has flown. I don't feel any different, but now I have a load of responsibility on my shoulders- I get to vote, have my own credit card, pay taxes, be put in jail (not that I will!)- it's all different. Kind of like college will be. I can't believe that's only a few months away...
And even scarier to me that in only two years I'll be twenty. Even though I get glared at everytime I tell that to someone older, ha ha. It's not that that's really even that old, it's just old for me! I mean that's totally the average marrying age in Utah. Although I wouldn't mind a relationship, I can't really picture myself being old enough to be all married and settling down. :) Still... that's far enough away. I'll enjoy being 18 for now.

Happy Birthday, Ann!!
I've known you since you were two and now you are an adult. Old enough to vote, in fact. Not sure if you are eligible for this election, though.
I hope you have a happy day and are settling in to your new life in AZ (or Arizonia as you used to call it when you were little).
love, Carole
Thank you Carole! I am eligible, and I'll be registering to vote shortly.
And yeah, Arizona is good. :)
I absolutely love the picture of President Hinkley. You are amazing! Don't grow up too fast, you have time... just enjoy life as you go!
Beautiful picture by a beautiful young lady! Love you girl - keep smiling because it brings joy to all around you!!
