Economics
So we've had this assignment in Economics the past week of having a fake family and budgeting for that... We had to draw our kids ages and our spouse's and our jobs. I got 15 year old twins. Then fate decided to be funny, and I pulled the job of Maid out. Maid. While my friend Amanda was busy laughing, she found the time to smartly remark, "Maybe you could be a French maid so you'd get more money". To which two other guys in my class replied, "I'll hire you!". Mrs. Buri, my teacher, overheard and quickly replied with a, "NO." So any of you that know me, know that I am not maid material. Cleaning and cooking aren't my thing, least of all wearing a demeaning outfit while doing so. My husband's job was an accountant for Discount Tire... all in all we both bring in about $2,400 a month. It is not easy to budget for a family on that little of money. It was a good learning experience though... I'll make sure to get a better paying job!
