Prom 2009 - A Walk To Remember

Here are a few pics from Prom, which was last night. Here's how it went:
  1. 9 am - I got a massage at this amazing spa, and got to talk to my masseuse that coincidentally went to the massage school I'm looking at going to. It was definitely a worthwhile trip.
  2. 11 am - Trevor picked me up and we went to In N' Out Burger for lunch. I really love how fresh their burgers and fries are... and I especially love the cheese they put on their burgers. I have to say it's my favorite burger place, since McDonald's makes me so sick.
  3. 12 pm - Headed over to my friend Amanda's house and played Uno and Sorry. I beat them at Uno at first, and then Amanda's little brother Cole beat us at all the rest of the games... However I won out of the teenagers. :P :)
  4. 2 pm - Watched Hitch, then started decorating the roses for our hair. Amanda's mom had this really good idea of painting glue on the tips of roses and then shaking glitter on them... they turned out really pretty.
  5. 3 pm - Amanda's mom did everyone's hair. Mine turned out really nice... everyone said I looked Greek with the flowers in my hair, gold jewelry, and my white dress... I'll have to get better pics up. I remembered that I really shouldn't pack stuff when I'm tired because I was upset to find that I had forgotten my wrap, wallet, deodorant, and toothpaste. Anyway I still managed to pull it together and Trevor was nice enough to compliment me several times during the night. He's an amazing guy, and looked really good also.
  6. 7 pm - We all headed out to Texas Roadhouse. Olive Garden was jam packed. I had some steak, their awesome plain mashed potatoes, and the wonderful house salad and rolls. It was really filling, and definitely good food. Good enough that I didn't even mind the environment that much. :)
  7. 9 pm - Headed off to the Phoenix Zoo where Prom was being held. They had a ballroom in one of the buildings there. They had a DJ there, but I didn't like him. He only played rap and techno songs... There were only three slow songs the whole time we were there. It was also very crowded because they had a much bigger turn out than they'd thought, so it was kinda hot in there. So I have to say that this part wasn't really my favorite, but it was still really nice to see everyone and dance a little bit. Plus we got good pictures. :)
  8. 12 am - Went to Amanda's to drop them off and hang out a bit
  9. 1 am - Trevor and I came back to my house and talked for about an hour.
And there you go! A play by play. :)
