July 4th!

This happens to be my favorite holiday of the year! Everyone always thinks I'm strange for saying that, but it really is. This year I'm in Arizona, so I didn't do the traditional St. George July 4th, but I still had tons of fun and got to hang out with family and friends here.

First we went to one of Trevor's cousin's birthday parties (he has a lot of little cousins), and then we went to Jer's brother Josh's house for the family July 4th party. It was a lot of fun, their pool is really nice and fun to swim at. Hayden seemed to be having the most fun bugging everyone else, especially my cousin Megan who was down from Kingman. They played with each other off and on. Kaylee, Katelyn, Kylee, and Brooklyn had fun diving for some little torpedoes at the end of the pool (with me and Trevor supervising). It's about 12 ft. deep to get all the way to the bottom. I did once, and it hurt my ears pretty bad. Still, we all had fun swimming. I have to say though, the food was probably the best- hamburgers and chocolate covered strawberries (among other things). Doesn't get much better than that.

Trevor and I left early to go see the fireworks, because I think that's my absolute favorite. The fireworks we saw were at one of the highschools, and they were pretty good! The finale was definitely awesome. When it was over we went to Trevor's cousin's house and had some fried chicken and homemade vanilla ice cream. All in all, a pretty good night!
