There are no words to describe how lucky I am to have these two beautiful people in my life. I have been so blessed to have both of them arrive at the exact time that I needed them.
Alayna and I have known each other for eight years now and have only become really close the past two years, and now I can't really say I have a closer friend. We both laugh that even though I "rescued" her by letting her come down to Arizona to live with me, only a few months later she was the one that was doing the saving when I got sick. She has helped me with my doctors and medicine, helped carry more than her share of the financial burden when needed, and gone way out of her way to make sure that both of our needs are met. It's been nice to have someone in the same vicinity as me that nerds out over Harry Potter and Mortal Instruments just as much as I do, and even more someone who understands my St. George background but also knows who I am now.

Courtney came into Alayna and I's life sort of by accident, but I don't think anything could have been more pre-planned. Alayna is constantly laughing about how Courtney is my "mini-me". We have a ton of the same health problems, although hers unfortunately tend to be more severe, and almost the exact same attitude. We are constantly saying or doing the same thing, usually with a very "sassy" attitude. Courtney has said more than once that she and her friends never thought they would ever find someone more stubborn than her, but they clearly didn't know I existed. (We tend to get into wars over forcing each other to go to the doctor or take medicine even though we may not want to all the time). I enjoy having her around, and it's so nice to have someone close to me who understands the pain of not being completely healthy when being young and the pain of the entire medical system. We also have the same taste in clothes and art, which means my closet just got bigger ;)
All in all, I am very lucky!!
