Watching Hayden

My aunt and uncle ended up getting a week vacation to Costa Rica, so I offered to watch Hayden since I knew his routines and had lived with them for a year. I went and slept over there, took him to school, helped him do homework, and was a "Mom" for a week. I loved watching Hayden because he is such a fun and good kid. He listens well and knows what needs to be done. But as much fun as it was I was surprised how much work and how draining it can be. I definitely don't want kids for a long time! I hadn't realized how much I value my alone time and going out and everything. Anyway, I was thankful for the time to spend with Hayden!
