Well, right after my last post I got very sick and ended up in the hospital overnight! It wasn't any fun and of course Trevor was out of town and my Aunt Jer was really sick herself, but luckily Trevor's grandma and mom took pity on me and stayed with me. :) Haha, but really, I'm glad they were so nice! I'm still trying to figure out that hospital bill... Got to love being sick, right? :P It didn't help that two weeks later I was sick again. So that was February!
March... was fun, I think? I don't really remember doing that much! Oh wait!!! I remember now. I must have blocked the trauma from my brain. :P March was when my car locked up and I had to put it in the shop and get a new car part that I can't remember the name of but still cost me a lot of money. And of course my phone broke the next day, so I had to replace it... Such is the joy of living on your own! :D But really it's great most of the time. :) I just have to complain.
April brought Easter:
I spent the first half of the day with Jer's and Suzi's family. It was fun! We had lots of good food and company at both parties. :) The second half I spent with Trevor's family. They also had lots of food and lots of people! Trevor and I both got spoiled by his family with some Easter candy- I was sad it's the last time I can legitimately get the easter candy as a kid! :)
In May I visited everyone in St. George for my good friend Danielle's graduation! We've been friends since middle school and so I had to be there. And even better, our best friend who had moved to California, Cali, was able to come up and stay with us! It was fun catching up and hanging out like old times. My family and I were also able to get pictures done by the amazing Jostlyn Walton, a friend of mine from highschool :)
June was pretty boring except I did have an awesome time going to Eclipse with my Aunt Jer and her family! We went to Olive Garden first where I got this amazing new dish- steak medallions over cheese ravioli- and then were able to see the movie at 7 pm the day before because we had gotten tickets from someone who had rented the theatre for a private showing. :) It was an awesome time and good movie! I definitely think Bella should have chosen Jacob. :P :D
July was fun. My mom came down for a while and we shopped and went to the local Olive Mill. At the end of the month I drove up to Vegas for a family vacation and we stayed at the Bellagio. It was an awesome trip. I loved eating at all the fancy restaurants and tanning at the Bellagio pools. Seeing the dolphins was awesome too! We had a great view of the Paris and strip from our room and an even better view of the Bellagio's water show which was fantastic. I loved how choreographed it was!
I also got to visit with my lovely Aunt Shelly, Uncle Scott, Megan, and Jazzy! It was fun seeing them after so long. :) They are awesome people!
August has been pretty tame so far. :) I got bangs!
I had a really fun time seeing everyone at Jer's birthday party. My cousin Kassandra had her baby Lily, who I now have met twice. She and Talmage were the cutest couple. He kept crawling over to her and kissing her on the forehead. She would just smile back at him. :) Jer had the most awesome rum cake with strawberries and bananas. Very good! Julie made amazing cookies. All in all it was a fun time, and definitely a nice way to celebrate Jerlyn who we all love! She is an amazing woman. (even if now she's officially over the hill). Haha, I'm just kidding if you're reading this Jer! I had to get at least one joke in! ;)
Trevor had his birthday and is now no longer a teenager. :) His parents, Trevor, Tyler, Allison, and I went to Cracker Barrel for their birthday. I had an awesome steak there and their macaroni that I love. I'm determined to go their sometime on a Wednesday so I can get their Broccoli Cheddar Chicken that I love so much. What I'm really excited for is the Olive Garden that's being built right where I work. :) My favorite!

I took my college placement tests and scored high enough to get a scholarship, but the one I could have gotten was only available to students right out of highschool. That's my luck! I'm now working on getting student loans and my financial aid put together so I can start this spring semester, since I'll have paid my car off then and it will be easier to afford books and everything.
Work has been really up and down emotionally lately. I won Associate of the Month for April. I've been there for over a year now, and I'm trying to decide if I want to wait until a full time position opens up because there are rumors that one or two will soon, or if I want to just move on and look for work elsewhere. I think the reason I've been holding out so long is because I really do like working there and I really, really like everyone I work with. It's a job I can do well and not be frustrated doing every day because the tasks are always changing. I'm frustrated though because I never know what my hours are going to be. I just got out of some really bad hours and now that they're high again I want to stay- but how long are they going to stay high?? It's hard with this recession because everytime I try to apply for jobs they're already taken or I'm not qualified enough. Which is another reason I'm still at my job! If I got a full time position here, I'd be set!
Other than that I just got over being sick again! Sore throat, congestion, achy, and mild fever. I got it from Trevor, who's actually had a lot harder time with it. I think part of it is the fact that a sore throat is nothing to me- I'm used to having severe strep! I keep telling him to drink more water- he lives off Dr. Pepper- but it turns out I drink too MUCH water. The average adult is supposed to drink half their weight in ounces a day- I drink more than my entire weight. :) That's what happens when you're only beverage of choice is water, lol.
So that's what's been going on!! I'll try to keep you guys more updated!

I love you! I really do! You need to blog more often. It makes me smile! Even if you say I am over the hill. :-)
Haha, I need to follow your example and if I have to do a catch up blog, try to give an overview. Sounds like you've had some fun travels and some yucky finances. Yay adulthood! It has its pros and cons.
I'm so excited for you to be able to start school though. Are you going to be able to go in the art therapy direction as you wanted? If you get a full time position, how would that affect school?
Wow. That's all I have to say about drinking that much water! Did you actually get told by a doctor you're drinking too much? Is it making you sick to be overhydrated?
