Update...

Wow. It looks like the last time I updated was October of last year... Crazy how time goes. Alright so a  brief overview....

November '11: Had health problems with ovarian cysts bursting and endometriosis causing lots of pain. The whole month was spent with doctors and hospitals and my wonderful mom came down to take care of me and make yummy food when I had surgery, right before Thanksgiving.

To say I was a stress case this month would be an understatement. My health, job, finances, and health insurance were all a pain, but I got so bad that I started freaking out about other people's problems on top of it. This caused problems with my Bipolar and I had to step back from a lot of things.

December '11: Christmas! Had fun baking with Allison and her mom and spent Christmas with Trevor and his family. Also saw my family. :)

January '12: Mainly this month was spent getting ready to move... At least that's all I remember. Oh, I guess I did have fun shooting a Glock with Jayne. :) and celebrating Amanda's 21st birthday.

February '12: Got my own place! My mom came down to help move me in and supply some furniture. It's an awesome and beautiful apartment complex with fun amenities. The jacuuzi is my favorite. :)

March '12: Had a rough time with Bipolar mania this month. Started getting unstable and isolating myself from responsible people. Not a fun time.

April '12: Trevor and I were broken up for most of this month. We both decided that we needed some space and solo-thinking time after being together 3 1/2 years. It was a good chance to re-evaluate and refresh things.

In that time I made a comparison list of who I was before moving to Arizona and who I am now. There were a lot of things that had changed completely for the good, and I owe so much of that to my Aunt Jer, Uncle Thomas, and Trevor. (The only thing that hadn't changed at all was my political views ;) ).
This month I let a friend move in who had recently got kicked out. Some bills and things got easier, and I had someone to help supervise me and my Bipolar.

May '12: Got Charlie! :) Having him is really what I imagine having a toddler is like. Potty training, playing with toys, whining for stuff, cuddling, sleeping and naps, leaving messes, and if he's silent I know he's up to no good...

Also met the wonderful Alex, the roommate's boyfriend, and we quickly became good friends.

June '12: Went to Alayna's wedding, was a Bridesmaid, had tons of fun. My mom was amazing and took pictures for them. Also got family pictures and had fun with everyone.

One of the weirdest experiences in life is going back home and having your parents talk to you on the same level as their other adult friends. It was really great to see the different side of my parents and weird to be on (somewhat) equal footing.

                             (I took this last picture : D )

July '12: Roommate lost his job. Started having trouble financially and living arrangement-wise.
Found out I have new cysts and regrown endometriosis. Had problems, but won't have to have more surgery.

August '12:  Roommate moved out! Both a blessing and a curse.

Had my annual "I should be in college" meltdown. I know I just need to get loans and start, but while I really want to learn again I think I'm scared of failing too. Plus I'm in enough debt right now that more is repugnant. And if I wait two more years (or get married/knocked up :p) I can actually get money from FAFSA. Well assuming Romney doesn't get into office and cut all the college aid- I joke, Republicans. :) so I'm probably waiting. We will see what January brings.

September '12: Finally at a place where I can handle stress healthily again. I know what calms me down, I know when I need to step back, and I know when my medicine is working and when it isn't. It's been a very long and hard process- one that I've had to do mostly by myself (with the tremendous help of Trevor)- but I've finally been able to do it. I will always have Bipolar, but I'm proud to say that I'm not Bipolar.

Also, Alex is quite possibly the best friend a person can have. He's the best person to talk to about guys with, he loves Vampire Diaries as much as I do, and he is the first friend I can depend on 100% to have my back. Also we both love art. He's quickly become my best friend and is the only person besides Trevor who can talk some sense into me. So no, don't believe the rumors that I have a secret boyfriend. Just a gay best friend.

That's it for now! I'm going camping Thursday, so I'll post when I get back!
